Ismo Aaltonen works as real estate manager at the Student Village Foundation of Turku (TYS). Ismo is keen on energy efficient solutions both in new housing and housing renovation projects. These are, for example, geothermal heating systems at the student housing location at Ikituuri and remodeling the heating system at Haliskylä into a hybrid system. TYS wants to be in the forefront of development and see how far ecological construction can be taken. The construction of Aitiopaikka, the newest student housing location, will start next fall. There are plans to install solar panels and solar thermal collectors.

Reijo Svento has been working as CEO for Finnish Federation for Communications and Teleinformatics, FiCom from 2000 to 2015. FiCom is a keen industrial organisation for ICT-companies in Finland. He has been a member in several committees, board of directors, working groups etc. He has been running one of the first innovation competitions in Finland done by Innovaatiomestarit and FiCom. After retirement from FiCom Reijo Svento has been a consult in ICT-sector.

Kalervo Haverinen has been the CEO for the Student Village Foundation of Turku for three years now. He has a Master of Social Sciences degree from the University of Helsinki. His former positions include: the General Secretary for the National Union of University Students in Finland, CEO for the Finnish Associations of Student Housing Organisations as well as CEO for Municipal Housing Plc. He has also held positions in trade unions and as a Special Adviser for Minister of Housing and Communications. Kalervo enjoys down-hill skiing, sports and music in his free time.
